**Job Summary**
The Deputy Director of Roads and Transportation is a key leadership position at Accma Online, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transportation and road infrastructure. This includes managing the construction and maintenance of bridges, repairs to guardrails, maintenance of company vehicles, acquiring property, installing and maintaining signage, planning roadways, bridges, and drainage structures, coordinating funding and disseminating resources to meet strategic objectives, and developing policy guidance within the Department.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Direct the functional areas or operations of Roads and Transportation, ensuring that employees have the necessary resources to accomplish goals.
- Assist the Director of Roads and Transportation in the execution of his/her authority in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the activities of the Roads and Transportation Department.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of over 2100 centerline miles of roadway, 280 bridges, 343 signals and related infrastructure including signing, striping, drainage, guardrail and related features.
- Manage the Department's three sub-divisions: Design, Construction, and Maintenance.
**Requirements**
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a strong background in transportation and road operations, with experience in leadership and management. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a master's degree is preferred.
