Job Description:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Safety Director to join our team in a mission critical sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical safety management and a proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface closely with field coordinators, project managers, and employees to implement the corporate safety program.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to corporate management and field supervision.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the corporate safety and health program.
  • Monitor construction activities and advise management on compliance with applicable regulatory rules and regulations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of safety training programs.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with the Lockout/Tagout Program and National Electrical Code.
  • Implement learnings, provide consistency, and drive rigor into the LOTO program.
  • Ensure all programs meet or exceed company, client, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Occupational Safety, or 7 years of field-related experience with a focus on NFPA 70E compliance.
  • Good working understanding of OSHA related to the construction industry.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of safety management experience within the construction industry.
  • Good working knowledge of workers' compensation and claims management.
  • Good working knowledge of 3rd party contractor management databases such as ISN & Avetta.
  • OSHA 500 Authorized Construction Trainer certification.
  • First Aid - CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual Spanish and English.
  • CSP, GSP, CIH, ASP, CHST, or other relevant certifications.
