Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Director to join our team at Fiore & Sons Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs across the company and all our civil construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and safety management in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of local, state, and federal safety regulations, standards, and reporting processes.

The Health, Safety, and Environmental Director will be responsible for fostering a culture of safety and sustainability, minimizing risks, and fostering a positive working environment. The role involves proactively identifying potential safety hazards, assessing risks, and developing strategies to minimize accidents, injuries, and environmental impact.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and leader, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, superintendents, and foremen, as well as clients and subcontractors, to ensure the successful integration of health, safety, and environmental practices throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Proven experience in leadership and safety management in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal safety regulations, standards, and reporting processes
