Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Multidisciplinary Engineer to join our team at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and deploying state-of-the-art simulators for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support initial design, testing, and deployment of simulators to NNPP training commands
  • Collaborate with engineers at NNL and external organizations to ensure effective and efficient qualification of Naval Nuclear Operators
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet the needs of the NNPP training program
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science-related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in a technical field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
  • Experience conducting shipboard or simulator test programs
  • S9G mechanic experience or comparable experience

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is $103,161.00, based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
