Renal Dietitian

Key Responsibilities:- Assess nutritional status and develop individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy plans for patients.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and caregivers, using evidence-based methods and materials.
- Monitor nutritional status, laboratory values, and dialysis adequacy to inform nutrition recommendations.
- Collaborate with the medical team, nursing staff, and other patient care team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and nutrition-related information in the medical record, adhering to federal, state, and LifeBridge Health requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- State licensure in Maryland or the state where the facility is located.
- Minimum of two years' professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
- Experience working in dialysis settings is preferred.
