Renal Registered Dietitian - LifeBridge Health

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition services to dialysis patients and their caregivers in a clinical setting. The successful candidate will assess nutritional status, develop individualized medical nutrition therapy, and provide education and counseling to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess nutritional status and develop individualized medical nutrition therapy plans
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field
  • Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • State licensure in Maryland or the state where the facility is located
  • Minimum of two years' professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian
  • Experience working in a dialysis setting is preferred
