Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of server electronics and mechanical systems to ensure they meet Application Deployment Requirements (ADR) and Marketing Requirements Document (MRD).
  • Implement advanced testing methodologies to assess features and performance under stress conditions.
  • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for server components, including disk drives, processors, and memory modules.
  • Oversee the release of components for both new and existing product lines, ensuring proper documentation is created.
  • Manage product introductions and modifications utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
  • Support the validation of prototype platforms for customer evaluations and regulatory compliance testing.
  • Perform in-depth failure analysis to identify root causes of field returns and manufacturing issues, collaborating with suppliers as necessary.
  • Work closely with quality and manufacturing engineers to resolve product-related challenges.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company's operations and demonstrate punctuality and reliability in attendance.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or department leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Associate's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 8-10 years of direct industry experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, and Project.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to develop and review test strategies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems within a server context.
  • Familiarity with standardized server testing software and high-speed digital/analog systems.
  • Experience with various server components and architectures, including processors, chipsets, and storage solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to generate detailed test plans and conduct thermal and electrical analyses.
  • Ability to document project progress and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Adherence to Business Management System (BMS) processes.
