About the Role

HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital is seeking a skilled RN Quality Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that we continue to provide high-quality, efficient care to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of performance data related to specified quality improvement programs.
  • Accurately abstract and analyze data for the Core Measures, FMQAI project, and any other assigned patient care outcome initiative.
  • Coordinate Performance Improvement Committees/Teams, including meeting preparation, setting agendas, writing minutes, drafting applicable letters for committee chairpersons, and ensuring all follow-up has been completed.
  • Prepare physician reappointment quality profiles and other physician-related performance improvement projects as assigned.
  • Facilitate assigned process improvement initiatives by using problem-solving methodology, root cause analysis, and/or Failure, Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with all members of the departmental team, communicate any service concern to the director immediately, and continuously evaluate administrative operational procedures and recommend changes as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
  • Completion of RN Diploma program or related healthcare program.
  • One (1) to three (3) years recent experience within an acute clinical practice or related healthcare position.
