About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Quality Coordinator to join our team at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that we continue to provide high-quality, efficient care to our patients.

Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of performance data related to specified quality improvement programs. You will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of performance data related to specified quality improvement programs.
  • Analyze data for the Core Measures, FMQAI project, and other assigned patient care outcome initiatives.
  • Coordinate Performance Improvement Committees/Teams, including meeting preparation, setting agendas, writing minutes, and drafting applicable letters.
  • Prepare physician reappointment quality profiles and other physician-related performance improvement projects as assigned.
  • Facilitate assigned process improvement initiatives using problem-solving methodology, root cause analysis, and/or Failure, Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with all members of the departmental team, communicating any service concerns to the director immediately.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of quality improvement principles and practices. You will also need to be a licensed Florida Registered Nurse with a minimum of one to three years of recent experience within an acute clinical practice or related healthcare position.
