Job Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Assist in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Support the accounts payable and receivable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Assist in Audits: Support the auditing process by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
  • Software and Tools: Utilize accounting software and tools (e.g., Viewpoint, Excel) for various accounting tasks.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor, which may include financial analysis, process improvements, or research.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation of Winter 2025 or Summer 2026.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative.

Salary: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour.
