Position Summary: We are looking for a motivated entry-level E-Commerce Technical Support Specialist to become a vital part of our innovative team. In this position, you will offer technical assistance to our users, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and resolve issues to guarantee the seamless operation of our e-commerce platform. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with a background in computer programming and technology who are eager to learn and embrace new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the Burpee e-Commerce platform (Adobe Commerce/Magento).
- Act as the primary contact for addressing issues reported by key stakeholders.
- Create and manage tickets within the Burpee project management and issue tracking system (Jira).
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to the Burpee e-Commerce platform and its integrations.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on new features and updates to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Document and relay test outcomes, user feedback, and technical challenges to relevant parties.
- Assist in developing and maintaining support documentation, user manuals, and FAQs.
- Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge by staying informed about new technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages and software development methodologies (PHP, SQL, JavaScript is advantageous).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical users.
- A keen interest in learning new technologies and undertaking diverse responsibilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a help desk or technical support capacity is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Basic familiarity with APIs such as REST and GraphQL is a plus.
- Basic understanding of managing Magento websites is advantageous.
