Job Overview

Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and proficient Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to enhance our healthcare services at The Family Health Centers.

The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding patient care, executing a variety of clinical and administrative duties, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our medical facility.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and guide them to examination areas
  • Record patient medical histories and vital signs
  • Support healthcare professionals during examinations and medical procedures
  • Prepare and administer medications and vaccinations as instructed by healthcare providers
  • Collect and prepare samples for laboratory testing
  • Maintain and update patient records within electronic medical record systems
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of examination rooms and medical instruments
  • Assist in patient education and provide necessary support and guidance

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
  • Experience in a healthcare environment as a Medical Assistant is advantageous
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Proficient in computer operations and familiar with electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with healthcare professionals
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
