Appearance Standards:

Our appearance plays a crucial role in the impression we leave on our guests. Guidelines regarding appearance include restrictions on unnatural hair colors, visible explicit or offensive tattoos, facial tattoos, and specific ear and facial piercings. These standards are not exhaustive, and exceptions may apply based on departmental needs.

Job Responsibilities

As a Pool Attendant, reporting to the Recreation Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of pool guests while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the pool area in accordance with Forbes service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional guest service to pool patrons.
  • Collecting used linens and restocking fresh supplies.
  • Performing cleaning tasks to maintain sanitary and safe pool environments.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a minimum of six months of relevant experience. CPR and first aid certification are also required.

Work Environment:

  • This role involves frequent standing, walking, and the use of hands for various tasks. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds is necessary. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be prepared to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Effective communication in English is essential for interacting with guests regarding job responsibilities.

Native American Preference Policy:

In alignment with our commitment to diversity, the Tribal Council prioritizes Native Americans in all employment practices. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet job qualifications, followed by members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes.

Employment Process:

Candidates must complete a gaming licensure process, which includes a background check conducted by Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations. This may encompass credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screenings.
