Job Summary

The Assistant Regional Manager will play a key role in supporting the business operations of our franchised and corporate sushi bars. This position will be responsible for assisting with the opening of new locations, conducting market research, and evaluating sushi bars to ensure they meet our standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the opening of new sushi bar locations
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
  • Evaluate sushi bars to ensure they meet AFC standards
  • Recruit prospective franchisees
  • Operate sushi bars until managed by franchisee
  • Assist the Regional Manager in all aspects of the AFC business
  • Conduct schedules for chefs and/or Field Supervisors
  • Travel 50% of the time to support business operations

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience managing/supervising staff
  • Previous experience in restaurant management and multi-line, preferably in the sushi industry
  • Experience in prepared packaged foods a plus
  • Asian cuisine facility experience
  • Sushi experience
  • Japanese restaurant experience
  • Ability to travel out of state for extended periods
  • Strong communication, oral, and written skills

Physical Demands

  • Able to lift and carry up to 15lbs at times
  • Able to work with prolonged sitting and working on a computer
