Aircraft Liaison Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Liaison Engineer to join our team at Aviation Technology Associates LLC. As an Aircraft Liaison Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting heavy maintenance base operations at aircraft MROs.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing technical dispositions and guidance for aircraft issues that exceed published limits for structural damage, including sheet metal and composite repairs.
- Performing structural analysis to substantiate repairs.
- Providing work deviation authorization, interpretation of service documents, and Engineering Orders.
- Providing options for repairing versus replacing a part to minimize financial impact.
- Providing aircraft system trouble shooting assistance to Base Maintenance.
- Attending daily production meetings and pre-induction meetings to ensure timely support.
- Providing on-site engineering assistance for significantly damaged line aircraft as required.
- Coordinating events/issues with Engineering Fleet Groups for additional action, troubleshooting, and follow-up.
- Monitoring trends and recurring discrepancies requiring corrective action.
- BS Degree (or higher) in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- Two plus (2+) years in specific technical discipline.
- Ability to perform structural analysis to substantiate repairs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, conscientious, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of FARs, FAA policies, and vendor manual (AMM, IPC, CMM).
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule to meet internal customer's needs.
- Estimated pay rate of $65.00 per hour.
- Travel costs covered (i.e., flights, hotel, rental car, etc.).
- 7 on/7 off rotation (no relocation requirement).
Please note that the location will start in Charlotte with two to three weeks of training. Once training has been completed, the location will change to one of the other locations listed above. Additionally, the location is subject to change (with an advanced notice) depending on where coverage is needed.
