Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures to assess patients' respiratory function.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
