Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and provide high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Job Summary:

The Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans, providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions, and performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans
  • Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Performing timely and accurate documentation
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement
  • Teaching and counseling patients/families
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families
Work Experience:

At least 2 years of experience
