Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. for a travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a competitive pay package. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
