About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Maintenance Technicians: The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance: The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating repairs and maintenance of all properties, including scheduling and prioritizing work orders.
  • Ensure Property Safety: The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all properties are safe and well-maintained, including identifying and addressing any potential safety hazards.
  • Manage Maintenance Budget: The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing the maintenance budget, including ordering supplies and materials as needed.
  • Communicate with Residents: The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for communicating with residents regarding maintenance and repairs, including providing updates on the status of work orders.
  • Collaborate with Community Manager: The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for collaborating with the Community Manager to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and safe for residents.

Requirements:

  • Skills: Effective communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor/Outdoor Environment: The Maintenance Supervisor will work in an indoor/outdoor environment, subject to changing conditions and temperatures.
  • Lifting and Carrying: The Maintenance Supervisor will be required to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 55 pounds, and may be required to work at heights.
  • Physical Demands: The Maintenance Supervisor will be required to stand, walk, and climb for long periods, and may be required to work in confined spaces.
