JT4, LLC is a leading provider of engineering and technical support services for various military test ranges, including the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy, under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform operations and maintenance on ground-based electronic systems under general technical supervision.
  • Engage in the installation, upkeep, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting, modification, construction, and testing of diverse electronic equipment and related devices.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of electronic transmitting and receiving devices, including digital and analog computers, industrial measuring and control equipment, microwave amplifiers, and antenna positioning systems.
  • Utilize technical expertise in electronic principles to diagnose and resolve basic issues using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and testing tools.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and implement repairs to restore functionality.
  • Execute troubleshooting at the component level and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should possess education and/or training from an accredited college or technical institution, covering mathematics, basic electronics, and microwave theory, or a military equivalent, along with three years of practical experience. ISCET certification may be necessary. A solid understanding of general electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and computer systems, as well as the testing equipment used for maintenance and repair, is essential. Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and high-power RF devices may also be required. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot at the component level and possess soldering competency.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Responsibilities are performed in both indoor and outdoor settings. Outdoor tasks may occur on various surfaces, which can be dry or wet, and may involve climbing stairs, ladders, towers, and scaffolds. The role may require the use of government vehicles as needed.
