The postdoctoral fellow will work on research projects in collaboration with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA). These projects aim to support the DPAA's mission to provide the fullest possible accounting for the nation's missing personnel from past conflicts abroad.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the DPAA to identify and complete required research projects.
- Produce high-quality website content, blog posts, and other teaching materials as assigned.
- Terminal degree in a related field.
- Ph.D. must be completed by the first day of employment.
- Prior experience working on digital history products.
- Ability to work well on deadline.
- Strong attention to detail and fact-checking skills.
- Experience with digital tools and methodologies.
- Effective writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment.
- Background in modern military history or adjacent fields.
- Archival and field research experience.
- Experience working collaboratively.
- Experience working with a variety of stakeholders.
