About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Accounting Manager to join our team at Thornton Tomasetti. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's revenue recognition processes. This role includes ensuring the accuracy of revenue reporting, enhancing financial controls, and optimizing processes to align with GAAP and internal policies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee the revenue recognition process in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606).
  2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions.
  3. Review client contracts, agreements and project plans to ensure proper revenue recognition.
  4. Collaborate with project managers and billing executives to assist with financial project management and ensure proper revenue recognition.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. A Bachelor's degree in accounting is required, and CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
