About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Clinic Coordinator to join our team at Olmsted Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our department.
  • Manage patient registration, insurance setup, and demographics verification, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MN Healthcare Programs and identify primary care providers as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient questions, addressing billing concerns, and providing directional guidance when necessary.
  • Schedule and verify patient appointments, ensuring seamless coordination with clinicians and nursing staff.
  • Collections patient payments and co-pays at each visit, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate closely with clinicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Attend educational seminars and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and industry developments.
  • Order and stock department supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Pursue internal and external patient referrals, expanding our network and enhancing patient satisfaction.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $22.50 - $28.20 per hour (based on experience), commensurate with qualifications and performance.
