Key Responsibilities: You will spearhead procurement initiatives for a segment of the division to facilitate business expansion while focusing on cost efficiency and process optimization. Forge strong relationships with Branch Managers and other key stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with their specific goals.

Your Duties Will Include:
  • Adhering to the organizational procurement strategy
  • Meeting your purchasing objectives within your designated segment
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and reductions
  • Ensuring compliance with standards, controls, policies, procedures, and performance metrics to effectively manage and report expenditures across the organization
  • Achieving measurable performance metrics for procurement activities, including but not limited to:
    1. Supplier performance
    2. Supplier quality
    3. Elimination of material shortages
    4. Buyer activity levels
    5. Financial outcomes
    6. Rebate initiatives
  • Overseeing the development of procurement staff skills and competencies, including training and knowledge management
  • Leading cross-functional collaboration
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • At least 3 years of procurement experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge or experience in horticulture is advantageous
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong work ethic
  • Experience in customer service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
