Environmental Engineer - Remediation Specialist

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support our Remediation team in Boston or Chelmsford, MA office.

Job Overview

The Environmental Engineer will assist project and program management with design and implementation of soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water remediation programs, data analysis, remediation construction, and treatment system design.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits at industrial, federal, commercial, and municipal client facilities
  • Collect and analyze environmental data for compliance and sustainability
  • Perform environmental sampling and develop technical memoranda and reports
  • Develop treatment system O&M and environmental reporting forms
  • Build analytic and engineering design skills under supervision
  • Prepare calculations, sketches, diagrams, and final working drawings
  • Use computer software to solve engineering problems
  • Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule

Local travel is likely, and U.S. travel is possible and project-dependent.
