Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) for a senior-level role to enhance our New England operations. The successful candidate will be a proactive and strategic thinker, eager to influence both local and corporate growth initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to establish a specialized practice area within Terraphase, utilizing our advanced operational, managerial, and technical resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct site investigation and remediation projects in accordance with Massachusetts regulations.
  • Provide LSP certification for Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) projects.
  • Deliver technical and project management leadership for initiatives nationwide.
  • Identify and cultivate business opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • Manage client relationships and project deliverables.
  • Recruit and develop key personnel to support growth.
  • Formulate and implement strategies for business expansion.
  • Prepare project cost proposals and related documentation.
  • Lead responses to national Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

Candidate Profile

  • Possession of LSP Certification.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the environmental sector.
  • Expertise in state and federal regulatory frameworks is essential.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Established understanding of the consulting industry, with knowledge of clientele and environmental practices.
  • Experience in project management, business development, and familiarity with environmental regulations and agencies.
  • Experience with Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances (PFAS) is preferred.

Compensation

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience, technical expertise, and education, with a range of $145,000 to $230,000.
