This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, requiring minimal in-office presence, and may be based at various locations.


Core Responsibilities:

Cloud Security Framework:
Formulate and execute a holistic cloud security framework that adheres to industry standards and compliance mandates.

Remain updated on cloud security developments and emerging risks to perpetually refine the security framework.

Cloud Architecture Development:
Create secure cloud architectures and solutions across multiple platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.


Ensure that security is a core component of cloud solutions, focusing on data protection, identity governance, and network security.


Compliance Assurance:
Guarantee that cloud environments meet pertinent security regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.

Work alongside compliance teams to conduct security evaluations and audits.

Implementation of Security Controls:
Deploy and oversee security measures and configurations within cloud environments to reduce risks and vulnerabilities.

Set up and manage cloud security tools and solutions for monitoring and incident management.

Identity and Access Management (IAM):


Establish and oversee cloud IAM policies, roles, and access controls to uphold least privilege access and best practices in identity management.


Security Training and Awareness:
Offer guidance and training to cloud operations and development teams regarding cloud security best practices.

Encourage a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.

Incident Management and Threat Intelligence:
Devise and maintain cloud incident response protocols and procedures.

Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to stay abreast of cloud-specific threats and vulnerabilities.

Documentation and Reporting:
Keep comprehensive documentation of cloud security architectures, policies, and procedures.

Generate reports and recommendations for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity with an emphasis on cloud security architecture.

Proficient knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with their inherent security features.

Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Cloud certifications.

Strong grasp of cloud security best practices, identity and access management, network security, and encryption.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Capability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range:
$170,000 to $182,000 annually. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on various factors including qualifications, experience, and operational needs.

Bonus:

This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, determined by MKS.
