Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of returned parts to identify root causes of bearing failures
  • Collaborate with experts from Metallurgy, Metrology, and Tribology to investigate advanced RPA cases
  • Work closely with Application Engineering, Product Development, and Advanced Engineering teams on RPA-related topics
  • Develop and maintain Lessons Learned database for RPA findings
  • Plan, estimate, and schedule RPA requests and maintain the Electronic Request System (ERS) database
  • Analyze data from RPAs to create a comprehensive understanding of bearing failure trends and statistical overview
  • Support benchmarking efforts through analysis of customer and competitor bearings
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of automotive Powertrain and Chassis Applications
  • Good understanding of bearings and their failure modes
  • Basic knowledge of Materials, Metrology, and Tribology to analyze bearing failures
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products
  • Knowledge of measurement and digital data acquisition tools and techniques
  • Ability to read technical drawings and interpret GD&T requirements
  • Good planning and organization skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis
