Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at ADM. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical support and assistance to our users, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to users, resolving moderately complex issues and problems.
  • Apply intermediate skills and knowledge of implemented systems to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with IT support groups to meet the needs of our users and develop good working relationships.
  • Work with end users to ensure the uninterrupted running of lab instruments and associated computer equipment.
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of software, hardware, and other IT equipment.
  • Manage and control large infrastructure projects to ensure timely completion and meet schedules.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Provide on-call support and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of experience in an IT-related field or 3-5 years of equivalent IT work experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows 7-11.
  • Proficient in Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Microsoft Windows Server, and Red Hat/Oracle, Linux 5-8.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs or more, climb ladders, crawl in tight spaces, and work in extreme heat and cold environments.
