Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager/Engineer to join our team at Palermo Rhodes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading water and wastewater projects from planning to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage water and wastewater projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, budget variances, and technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater project management, including experience with planning, design, and construction.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Primavera, and Asana.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • PE license in Texas or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
  • Experience with water and wastewater treatment plant design and operation.
  • Experience with construction administration and project close-out.
