Overview

Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Infectious Disease team, supporting Transplant patients at Emory University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with infectious diseases, primarily post-transplant patients
  • Assist in the development of care plans and prescribe treatment under the direction of a physician
  • Conduct patient interviews, document patient histories, and perform physical examinations
  • Document the delivery of care in patient medical records
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
  • Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • At least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties

  • Base Salary range: $102,000 to $128,000 per year depending upon years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
