Job Title: Night Shift Pa

Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Infectious Disease team supporting Transplant patients at Emory University Hospital.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled APP with 2+ years of Infectious Disease experience as an Acute Care NP or PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treating post-transplant patients and be able to work independently in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
  • Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures, including cast application and removal, wound suturing, and dressing changes.
  • Assist physicians in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
  • Document the delivery of care in individual medical records.
Requirements
  • Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Work Environment

The schedule will be Monday through Friday, and the position will not require call, nights, or weekends. The work environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
