Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider | Infectious Disease

Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Infectious Disease team at Emory University Hospital. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Infectious Disease experience as an Acute Care NP or PA.

Job Summary:

This is an inpatient position treating primarily post-transplant patients at Emory University Hospital. The schedule will be Monday through Friday and will not require call, nights, or weekends.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
  • Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician.
  • Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
  • Document the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.
Requirements:

Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
