They will implement safe food handling and service protocols while collaborating with the food and beverage supervisor and sales personnel to accommodate meeting rooms and catering requests.

This role may be offered as either full-time or part-time. All full-time roles come with eligibility for benefits. The operational needs of this position necessitate flexible shift days, start times, and weekly hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness in the bar, kitchen, and food preparation areas.
- Consistently follow safe food handling and service practices.
- Collaborate closely with the food and beverage supervisor and sales staff to meet the needs of meeting rooms and events requiring catering.
- Maintain safety throughout the work shift by identifying and rectifying hazards.
- Collect and sanitize dirty dishes and/or glasses during shifts.
- Adhere to all Lexima/Brand safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment and understanding chemical warning labels.
- Oversee both bar and food service setup and breakdown.
- Ensure food presentation aligns with Lexima/Brand standards.
- Stay attentive at the bar and frequently check in with guests.
- Manage catering needs for meeting rooms, regularly checking with the designated contact for additional requirements.
- Operate juice and milk machines, commercial refrigerators and freezers, commercial dishwashers, and vacuum cleaners.
- Keep the kitchen organized and clean.
- Wash dirty dishes promptly.
- Restock necessary items during service hours.
- Monitor food and bar inventories, maintaining appropriate levels and conducting grocery shopping as needed.
- Consistently comply with Lexima/Brand compliance standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Participate in all-employee meetings, events, and other functions as required by management.
- Process guest purchases and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Familiarize oneself with all policies, hotel rules, and terminology.
- Attend meetings as directed by management.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
This position is situated within a hotel, primarily working in the kitchen or restaurant/bar area.
Physical Demands
The physical requirements outlined here represent those that must be met by an employee, with or without accommodation, to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and push/pull approximately 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of an 8-hour shift.

No travel is anticipated for this position. Travel for annual training and conferences may be necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Food handling certification as required by state or county regulations.
- TIPs training preferred (Training will be provided).
- Prior bartending experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cashier responsibilities.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
- Patience and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Fluency in English is required.
