Senior Mechanical Engineer Associate

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer Associate at PAE Consulting, you will lead project teams and manage budgets, with the potential to serve as a Project Manager. You will also provide technical leadership for PAE's design scope as a Lead Engineer, and may be responsible as Engineer of Record (EOR).
Key Responsibilities
- Project team leadership and budget management
- Technical leadership of PAE's design scope as Lead Engineer
- Leadership of multi-discipline engineering projects from concept through completion
- Active engagement in PAE's success
- Track and measure performance against goals
- Effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group
- Complete projects within the budget and schedule
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Present to clients, staff, and at industry events
- Provide mentorship, training, and development for staff
- Update company standards and improve company processes
- Enforce the project quality management plan (QMP)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering for discipline work
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Active PE license
- Must have experience in a leadership role
- Inspire and motivate staff
- Effective leadership and people skills
- Lead and manage projects successfully and profitably
- Serve as a technical resource for the company
- Demonstrate commitment to PAE
- Project management skills including billing, reporting, resource allocation, and scheduling
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Revit/AutoCAD

- Base salary range: $98,300-$139,000 annual
