Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed X-Ray Technician to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing timely and quality radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiology procedures, including X-rays, ultrasounds, and other imaging tests, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
- Develop and implement quality control checks to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including communicating test results and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, test results, and other relevant information.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficial.
- A Non-Registered Technician (NCT) license in state of residency if required by the state.
- The ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
Work Environment
CareNow urgent care clinics operate Monday through Friday from 8am – 9pm, Saturday 8am – 8pm, and Sunday 8am – 5pm. You must have the flexibility to work during these hours.
