Position Summary

The Retail Operations Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing account management and sales initiatives while ensuring an exceptional customer service experience. This role involves collaboration and communication with RAC Brands retail partners to process credit applications and online orders, converting them into valued customers. Additionally, the Assistant Manager evaluates lease applications, promotes the benefits of leasing, and drives customer conversions. This position is conducted within a retail partner environment.

Compensation Structure

The Retail Operations Assistant Manager is compensated hourly in line with RAC Brands' standard payroll practices. Beyond the hourly wage, this position may qualify for various bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon active employment and fulfillment of all outlined criteria in the incentive plan, subject to applicable state or local laws.

Compensation: $/hr + Potential Bonus (Based on performance + paid out monthly)

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Account Management
  • Facilitating customer growth through various channels (online, partner stores, walk-ins)
  • Listening to, identifying, and addressing customer needs promptly
  • Educating customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payment structures, benefits, and the complete application process
  • Closing sales by converting applications from both in-store and online orders
  • Collaborating effectively with partner stores across all operational aspects
  • Reporting to and maintaining communication with the Store Manager regarding store activities and performance
Customer Service Excellence
  • Building partnerships with retail staff to generate referrals and educate customers on the Lease-To-Own process
  • Swiftly addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints to uphold high customer satisfaction
  • Fostering a positive work atmosphere to enhance employee retention and minimize turnover
Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications
  • Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is advantageous
  • Organized, with effective time-management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Consistent in-person attendance

Work Schedule

This is a full-time role. The operational days and hours span Monday through Sunday, with specific working hours varying, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements

In performing the duties of this position, the Retail Operations Assistant Manager is frequently required to communicate with coworkers and customers. This role is physically demanding, necessitating standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
