  • Accurately and efficiently document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Medical Transcriptionist.
  • High School Diploma (GED) with related experience and post-high school courses in Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy/Physiology preferred.
  • Accurate typing or data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated skills with Windows-based programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication, anatomy, including correct spelling.
  • Experience with medical office and/or medical records documentation preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish, both speaking/writing, preferred.
