Job Title: Sprinkler Inspector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Inspector to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Sprinkler Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our life safety product lines.

Responsibilities:

* Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems and related equipment
* Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment
* Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices
* Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule
* Input, retrieve, and archive inspection documentation via laptop computer
* Make minor repairs and programming changes under direct authorized supervision
* Complete assigned inspections on time

Requirements:

* Documented experience in sprinkler systems
* Ability to obtain and retain required licenses
* Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
* Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage
* Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
* Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs
* Ability to work in unusual positions, including climbing ladders and scaffolding
* Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends
* Willingness to travel out of town
* Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly
* Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
* Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

* 5+ years' relevant experience
* Repair experience
* Backflow certification
* NICET Level II certification
