Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PC Technician to join our team at TEKsystems. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, removing, configuring, and documenting maintenance on various computer systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, remove, configure, and document maintenance on computers, tablets, smartphones, fax machines, scanners, copiers, and printers.
  • Provide technical support to agency personnel via service desk telephone and/or remote assistance on the computer.
  • Answer service desk tickets and contact and follow up with outside vendors repairing agency equipment under warranty.
  • Maintain up-to-date accurate records for inventory and repair/maintenance work performed within the agency.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections on agency technology equipment and make recommendations for the technology budget.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Junior level experience in technical support and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

This role will require 25% of the time to be spent on providing written and oral reports, answering phones, and screening calls. The remaining 75% will be spent on performance maintenance on agency computer systems, including answering service desk phone calls, diagnosing problems, and monitoring network activities.
