Work Schedule:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and standard cost accounting principles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Cost Accountant to ensure accurate monthly reporting of Operations expenses
  • Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries with necessary documentation
  • Manage expense workflows and review coding requests
  • Support the management and inventory of fixed assets for the Operations team
  • Document and support annual and periodic standard cost updates
  • Identify and implement improvements in ERP systems and cost accounting practices
  • Maintain and update reports for monthly and quarterly financial reporting using Syteline/CSI, Power BI, and Oracle FCCS
  • Provide necessary data to corporate representatives as required
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly budget variance analysis
  • Support evaluations of internal controls, JSOX compliance, and risk assessments
  • Participate in quarterly Finance team meetings
  • Prepare audit schedules and analyses as needed, interfacing with external auditors
  • Contribute to the annual physical inventory count
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork to achieve corporate and departmental objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide analytical and financial support to various departments as necessary
  • Perform additional tasks as required
