Position Title: Food and Beverage Server

Overview:

We are a dynamic and expanding restaurant seeking enthusiastic Food and Beverage Servers to elevate our service standards.

We are in search of innovative and driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere. Ideal candidates will be organized, possess fundamental serving skills, exhibit excellent communication abilities, maintain high energy levels, and demonstrate a positive demeanor. You will report to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Front of the House Managers. This role requires availability during evenings and weekends.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods (4-10 hours).
  • Familiarity with service protocols.
  • Capability to lift and transport items weighing 10-20 lbs.
  • Possession of a state-approved Food Handlers Card.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Assist guests in making informed food and beverage choices.
  • Present ordered items promptly and efficiently.
  • Enhance the dining atmosphere with an enthusiastic approach.
  • Prepare dining areas by arranging tables, chairs, condiments, and service utensils.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Guide guests in selecting menu items by providing detailed explanations and addressing dietary needs.
  • Communicate orders to the kitchen and bar, noting any special requests.
  • Keep kitchen staff updated on meal timing.
  • Serve orders by collecting and delivering items from the kitchen and bar.
  • Respond to additional guest needs by observing and inquiring during the dining experience.
  • Maintain table settings by clearing completed courses and refilling beverages.
  • Conclude the dining experience by thanking guests and inviting them to return.
  • Process payments accurately and return change or receipts to guests.
