Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading liquid tanks, truck chassis, and fluid delivery systems/pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose Issues: Identify structural and operational problems with tanks, chassis, and fluid systems.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Restore equipment functionality by replacing failing parts and repairing malfunctioning components, including welding and fabricating.
  • Install Upgrades: Enhance equipment efficiency by installing additional parts.
  • Perform Tests: Conduct Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) tests on petroleum tanks and chassis.
  • Follow Job Orders: Execute tasks as per customer requests and manager's directions.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using and maintaining various tools (hand, electric, pneumatic, welding/cutting)
  • Ability to read and comprehend work orders, safety manuals, and other instructions
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with safety standards in motor vehicle repair environments
