Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently to enhance patient satisfaction and optimize the use of medical facilities.
  • Handle patient payments, including co-pays, and ensure accurate reconciliation of financial transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Collect necessary identification and documentation from patients prior to their appointments.
  • Organize patient files and prepare them for medical examinations or treatments.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist patients with insurance forms and address billing inquiries.
  • Provide support to patients in distress, coordinating transportation when necessary and participating in emergency protocols as required.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred experience includes at least one year in a medical front desk role or administrative position.
  • Customer service experience of one year is mandatory.
