Job Title: Sr. Maintenance Mechanic

At Fanatics, we're looking for a skilled Sr. Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, as well as supervising and training other maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use tools, schematics, and machining equipment to restore production machines to working order.
  • Implement a preventative maintenance plan to minimize unscheduled downtime of equipment.
  • Supervise, train, and assist other employees in the department.
  • Manage equipment parts and shop supplies, recommending orders as needed.
  • Research and implement improvements to machinery and plant.
  • Solve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or other production equipment repair needs.
  • Schedule repairs for equipment with department managers and support contractors as needed.
Physical Demands:

This role requires regular standing, walking, talking, hearing, and sitting. Occasional use of force to push, pull, or lift up to 75 pounds is also required. Close vision at 20 inches or less, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus are essential.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and programmable devices.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Organization and planning skills.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Follow-up skills.
  • Math aptitude.
  • Self-starter and team player.
Environment and Scheduling:

This role is performed in a manufacturing plant setting. Flexibility and availability to work additional hours when necessary are required.
