Position Overview:


As a vital member of the Clinical Nutrition team at Trinity Health, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional nutritional care to our patients. We are dedicated to enhancing the health of our communities through compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services.


Role Responsibilities:


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough nutrition assessments in accordance with established Nutrition Practice Guidelines.
  • Creating and executing individualized nutritional care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Monitoring and assessing patient responses to nutrition interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Identifying patients who require Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and providing appropriate guidance.
  • Delivering MNT education to patients on specialized diets as necessary.
  • Assisting in the management of nutrition support, including Enteral Nutrition and Parenteral Nutrition, following established protocols.

Qualifications:


To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • Registration as a dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and a valid state license as a licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN).
  • A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as a dietitian, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources, enabling effective problem-solving and intervention planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex clinical concepts to a diverse audience, including healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.

Additional Preferences:


Certifications in Allergen Awareness and Serv Safe Management are advantageous.
