The Housekeeping Room Attendant is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, ensuring that the highest standards of hygiene are met and that guest satisfaction is prioritized.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, including making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and replenishing amenities.
  • Keep work areas tidy and well-organized.
  • Report maintenance issues and unsafe conditions.
  • Fulfill assigned responsibilities and participate in cross-training.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, office spaces, elevators, and stairwells, and attend staff meetings.
  • Physical Requirements
  • SITTING: Occasionally.
  • WALKING: Frequently, potentially covering up to two miles daily.
  • Engage in unloading/loading housekeeping carts and cleaning patios/balconies.
USE OF SENSES
  • Regularly communicate in person or via phone with guests, the public, and fellow employees.
  • Utilize near and far vision, depth perception, and the ability to identify potential hazards and odors.
  • MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Maintain professional communication, meet deadlines, cover shifts, manage varied hours/tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
ENVIRONMENTAL SETTING
  • Comply with safety standards and procedures while being exposed to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and cleaning agents.
