Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team at Everett Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients in routine nursing situations, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient/consumer need for care and communicate with RN/MD providers appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Determine patient/consumer purpose for admission/visit and collect data relevant to visit/admission, ongoing care as directed by standards/plan of care.
  • Recognize urgent/emergent situations and appropriately refer/manages.
  • Contribute pertinent information to the plan of care and assists in monitoring care.
  • Deliver nursing care as determined by plan or patient needs and recommend modifications in plan of care as needed.
  • Assist patients/families in self-care activities and demonstrate understanding of the physiologic and psychological effects of normal aging by assessing and implementing care to meet the needs of populations served.
Requirements
  • Practical Nurse License (Washington) required at hire OR Compact License.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
  • Degree from an accredited program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent ambulatory care experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of electronic patient charting systems.
Work Environment

Work location is on-site (KP designated office, medical office building or hospital). Worker location must align with Kaiser Permanente's Authorized States policy.
