About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Hollywood Casino Bangor. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for directing the overall operations of our properties, including interior and exterior maintenance, mechanical systems, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring that all buildings and grounds are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage construction and engineering projects, working closely with our design and construction teams to meet the needs of our properties.
  • Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational plans to ensure the smooth execution of projects and minimize disruptions to our customers.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and support to our operations team, ensuring that all facilities-related issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all facilities-related activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Capital Expenditures: Manage capital expenditure requests and operating budgets to ensure that our facilities are maintained and upgraded as needed.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of facilities professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure that our team is equipped to meet the needs of our properties.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least three years of progressively more challenging experience in facilities management, project management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proven managerial and critical thinking skills, excellent employee relations skills, and good oral and written communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
