Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer in Biological Sciences to join our team at UC Merced. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses in the Biological Sciences department, including Biology Today, Cancer Genetics and Tumor Biology, and Introduction to Organismal Biology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology and experience teaching at the college or university level. They will be expected to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, evaluate student work, and provide regular feedback to students.

The Lecturer will also be responsible for holding regular office hours, responding to student inquiries, and participating in departmental meetings and activities.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong background in biology and experience teaching at the college or university level. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.

A master's degree in biology or a related field is required, and a Ph.D. is preferred.
